A.E. „Dusty“ Durrant
At Bezuidenhoutsrus near Delmas, Transvaal Navigation Collieries No. 1 - an industrial 3’ 6" gauge 4-8-2 locomotive - works a train of coal to the SAR interchange sidings in February 1969. In many respects similar to the SAR class 12, it had been built by the North British Locomotive Company under Queens Park, Glasgow, works number 26759/1947 and worked at other local collieries when required and also carried various identities at TNC over the years.
