Wreck of the „Jebba“
Seen her wrecked in Ramillies Cove, (Named after HMS "Ramillies" which was wrecked 147 years earlier) Bigbury Bay in march 1907. She drove ashore in dense fog on passage Las Palmas to Plymouth. All crew and passengers were rescued. Built in 1896 by Dixon, Middlesborough as the "Albertville" for the CIE Belge Maritime Du Congo of Antwerp. Renamed "Jebba" in 1898. Owned by Elder Dempster.
